Wordless Wednesday - Birds.........

This is almost wordless and is featuring some birds I have seen lately with just a few pictures thrown in that are a bit older. My apology to facebook friends who might have already seen one or two. Birds are very difficult for me to capture close up and clear so, these are not award winning pictures. I was just thrilled to finally get some new humming bird shots........

My only recent shot of a male ruby-throated hummer.

Wood Pecker

Hawk

Swallowtail  Kite

Titmouse taking a dust bath.

Male Cardinal

I'm having a great summer with the birds! "Life's tiniest surprises often send the greatest ripples of happiness."

    1. I agree - a lot of birds large and small. I would love to see and get a picture of a painted bunting like one of my friends sees. No luck with that, so far.

  2. Isn't it fun trying to get pictures of hummers! A cheallenge, but so worth it when you get a good one. I lucked out today as I got one where the wings weren't going a million miles per minute! Jeff got one where it was perched on a branch. I just love the challenge of it. I love your other pictures. Birds are so interesting.

    1. They sure are a challenge but, a prize. Not only do the wings move constantly but they flit from blossom to blossom.
