Technically, these might not all fall under the term exotic but, using meaning 3. strikingly, excitingly, or mysteriously different or unusual, they come pretty close.

A few years back I disliked bromeliads, didn't want any of them. Funny how plants can "grow" on you.
I chased three different types of butterflies around the yard but they were all so flutteringly busy that I couldn't get any good picture. I brought this one up from an old album.

These leaves are at least 4 feet long. The bush is at least 8 feet tall. What a great place to play hide and go seek. On another day I found a little rusted scooter under here and a play sword.
Spanish moss exotic? Not in my opinion. More like creepy.
Ginger
Staghorn fern has come back from the freeze and gotten huge.
Beautyberry - not enough to make jelly this year, maybe next.
